Warrington’s very own Christmas Toy appeal is now well underway and we have been delighted with the initial response since the appeal was launched last week by TV celebrity and comedy funny man Jason Manford.
BiG Storage’s Paul Whittaker a BNI member and Toy Appeal Co-ordinator commented, “Over the last eight years the toy appeal has attracted tens of thousands of donations, every single one of which has helped to make a difference to a child in need, we are delighted that BNI Warrington have decided to support our appeal, which this year will help local charities such as the NSPCC Warrington, The Children AdventureFarm Trust and JUMP. ”
Anne Daybell, owner of Big Local App Warrington, added, "It’s great to hear that BiG Storage’s target of 5,000 toys is well on target to be surpassed this year. There should be plenty of presents for the under-privileged and vulnerable children who will be helped by the local charities based in and around Warrington."
The appeal is looking for new gifts for children from babies up to those of 16 years of age. These presents need to be unwrapped so the right gift can be selected for the chosen child.
